Publisher's Synopsis
Manuela Paris returns to his village on the Roman coast for Christmas. While he waits to find out if he is to be declared fit for service again, he meets Mattia, the mysterious, lone guest of the Hotel Bellavista. Mattia also lives in the limbo of a great secret.
