Alex Ascher rarely has a month go by without something complicated happening in her life. This time, she's invited by a fellow investigator, Ethan Bishop, to help investigate missing children. The simple job quickly turns her life upside down. Nightmares plague her sleep, fae creatures attack the city at random, and Alex finds herself struggling to keep her life under control.
Then she learns of an MMA gym turned supernatural neighborhood watch. That wouldn't be bad in itself, but it is being led by a lilin. It is only a matter of time before the men and women of the gym get pulled into a cult of Ashmedai, the Succubus of Wrath.
With the fate of her city on the line, Alex has to push herself to the limit.
