Publisher's Synopsis
Damon Dodge is a brat. One Saturday, bored and looking to create trouble, he lights a match in his mother's bedroom. He learns the hard way that matches can be dangerous and within seconds is running from leaping flames. Rescued by a strange man with a clipboard, Damon is taken to an alternative world where his kindly mother is an evil witch and his semi-detached house a sprawling Gothic mansion.
