Publisher's Synopsis

Mr. Fendrich began writing these 150 poems in the late seventies when his business found him traveling around the U.S. and abroad. The subject matter is diverse, ranging from philosophical and spiritual reflection, nature scenes, nostalgia times, romantic topics, daily life experiences and special locales. Join him on "Life's Path." His interest in poetry was sparked by the fact that his Mother had a fondness for the works of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, who for a time lived in Portland, ME where his mother had relatives. A strong interest in poetry emerged when Mr. Fendrich entered the Navy's ROTC program at Dartmouth College during WW II. During that time, he attended readings by Robert Frost who then was a visiting professor.
