A mixed information pack which is useful both for the study of life on the Coral Reef and for everyone interested generally in the Coral Reef. The pack consists of various elements. A poster of the Coral Reef of Belize illustrates where coral reefs are found, life on the coral reef, reef builders, threats to the reef and the land next to the reef and how the reef protects it. The set of teachers notes, in the form of durable card notes, contain various activities and ideas for using the education pack, including ideas for class activities, answers to activity card questions and reference information. The activity cards consist of A4 cards. One side of the card provides facts, the other side provides a variety of activities. The four cards cover: reef building, living groups, living together and who eats who?;The pack is useful for Key stage 2 cross curriculum studies covering geography and science and for use in studying places beyond the UK. It also includes information of use in levels 8 and 10 of scientific investigation and in studying life and living processes. All materials are photocopiable for classroom use.
