Barbara Jones Brown interviewed Richard Turley at her home in Park City, Utah for the Mormon History Association broadcast in June 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Barbara asked Rick Bennett to record the interview for the Mormon History Association meetings. We covered Turley's hiring in the Church History Department following the Mark Hofmann bombings, his and Barbara's work together on the Mountain Meadows Massacre, Saints, the construction of the new Church History Library, and Turley's help in getting more female historians hired in the church history department.
