He sailed from Liverpool 4 January, 1842. He reached Boston on 21 January, 1842, and travelled by New York and Phila delphia to Washington and Richmond. Re turning to Baltimore, he started for the West, and went by Pittsburg, and Cincinnati, to St. Louis. He returned to Cincinnati, and by the end of April was at the falls of Niagara. He spent a month in Canada, performing in some.
