Publisher's Synopsis
When everything calmed down after the demise of my wonderful husband, all the bank accounts had new names, and beneficiaries were changed, I started feeling a loneliness and realized the drastic change this would be in my life. I needed to reach out to new friends. But I still wanted to think about all the wonderful events that John and I had experienced together. I just couldn't get used to the "Oh, remember when we went to..." My happy memories were mine alone. I felt the need to go back over our life and relive some of our happy moments, and yes, plenty of not so pleas-ant ones, too. They were all a part of that wonderful life we shared. This book is written to share those many memories with family and close friends. It is a legacy of the people, times and places of "Life in the Bowlings' Lane."
