A series of short stories about the life of the big bad wolf.
The stories are narrated by Harry's cousin, Canis Latrans, and are intended to inform the public of the truth about the "Big Bad Wolf" and to counter the lies put out in a massive publicity campaign funded by one of his enemies.
These stories tell how, after quitting his job as an actor, Harry left Hollywood and worked as a private investigator, as an agent for homeland security and as an insurance investigator before being murdered by a family of pigs who were trying to cover up an insurance scam.
The stories give alternative (and quite different) versions of the stories of Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, Little Bo Peep, Pinocchio, the Little Red Hen, Chicken Little and many others.
They describe how Harry meets and works with various exotic characters, including Dr. Hoot (a time travelling owl), Johnny Inkslinger (a world class accountant) and L. Eagle (a world class attorney) as well as tooth fairies, fairy godmothers, genies, vampires, jabberwocks, religious fanatics, witches, werewolves, dragons, and several gods of various kinds (including Greek gods, Norse gods and the Flying Spaghetti, Monster.)
Among the things you will learn in these stories are: who should be afraid of Virginia Wolf, why the beauty was attracted to the beast and why Goldilocks came to be in the bears' house.
