The 2019 edition of Life and Times of Harry Wolf has 70 chapters. Sixty five of the chapters appeared in earlier versions of the book and five are new to this edition. Stories from earlier editions describe how Harry Wolf quit his acting job in Hollywood, how he was accused of (and cleared of) the murder of Red Riding Hood's grandmother, how he was hired (and later fired) by homeland security, and how he was eventually murdered by a family of pigs involved in an insurance scam. During his career he became involved with Hansel and Gretel, Sleeping Beauty, Cindy Reller, Rumpelstiltskin, Dr. Hoot (the time travelling owl), Zeus, Loki and many other exotic characters, far too many to list here. In the new chapters of the 2019 edition: Serena Sirena, "The Little Mermaid", cannot sing because she signed an exclusive contract with an agent, and the agent now refuses to book her. Serena comes to Harry for help.A popular entertainer is murdered and his orphaned son asks Harry to find out "Who Killed Rockin Robin".Frogs are mysteriously missing from Chainey Lake and the frog prince consults Harry. This leads to the investigation of "Swiney Toad, the Demon Frog Polisher of Soggy Bog". Jaqueline Frost falls down and breaks the Southern Ooze crown. The ruler of Southern Ooze won't be able to wear "The Crown that Jaq Broke" at her sister's coronation. Can Harry keep another sister from causing problems over this breach of royal etiquette?A white rabbit is an entertainer in the court of the red queen. The queen has invited his old rival, the wizard of Ooze, for a visit. The rabbit is expected to perform for him, but the wizard will certainly try to sabotage the performance. How can Harry protect a performer from the magic of a powerful wizard on the "Very Important Date"? In addition to the new chapters, there are modifications to chapters in earlier versions. One describes how some wealthy parents had used their money to ensure the acceptance of their children into a highly selective school. Another explains why frogs now have a frog as king rather than a stork, as was described by Aesop.
