Life and Rhymes covers many different topics from mental health struggles, overcoming adversity, motherhood and lessons learnt along the way. Be swept away on a rollercoaster of a journey through these highs and lows; where you will laugh, cry, feel empowered, feel heard and connected.
There are four chapters:- Standing in Shadows are poems about living with depression and anxiety
- Phoenix Rising are poems that reflect the healing process of working on your mental health
- Blood, s*** and tears is all about motherhood, the ups and downs we go through and some funny stories too.
- Social Lessons are lessons that we learn throughout our lives. Lessons about social media use, discrimination, bullying and so much more.
Although there are poems suitable for all age groups within the book, please note there are poems that are not suitable for children as they use expletive language.
