Life Processes and Their Influences 1

Part of a series intended for pupils taking National Curriculum science syllabuses, this volume explores life processes and their influences. The text includes questions, activities and a summary at the end of each unit to precis its aims and contents and is intended for use at Key Stage 3 of the National Curriculum.;All attainment targets are covered at levels 3 to 5 as recommended and information technology is integrated wherever appropriate. Particular emphasis is placed on AT 17 - the nature of science. Exploration of science has a central role in the pupils' books which is reinforced by the explorations resource and the series is accompanied by a teacher's handbook which suggests teaching and learning strategies and provides attainment target matrices and assessment guidelines.
