Publisher's Synopsis
Swedish photographer Per Englund took these 50 b/w photographs of Cape Town - a city which is said to be one of the most beautiful in the world - over a three-year period. Pictures of street scenes, urban landscapes and downtown nightlife tell the story of a post-Apartheid city full of strong contrasts and a rich political, colonial and traditional African heritage - a visual poem of a stunning city, taken from an outsider's point of view.
