Before going on a long journey, we will carefully choose our final words to our loved ones. And during the final six hours of his life, it is recorded that Jesus spoke seven times, and each of His statements was loaded with significance. In this issue of Life Every Day, we reflect on those final sayings. The Lord would say many things after the resurrection, during His various appearances to His disciples, and then during the remarkable 40-day period of kingdom-focused instruction that He gave His disciples before He ascended to heaven. But we are going to focus on the sayings of Jesus made on the final day of His life before the resurrection, when He was suffering a cruel execution.
