Publisher's Synopsis
They were female prisoners in the Nazi extermination camps. They were professional musicians or had some musical literacy. They accompany the labor team when they start work and finish work. In the morning, they performed for the victims who were about to be sent to the gas chamber, and in the evening they played music for the executioner who had completed the killing. Music gave them a lifeline, and music provided them with weapons to ridicule and resist the butcher. Surviving humiliation, they are the girl band of Auschwitz.
