To Paula's surprise, the death of her mother sparks additional aspirations: having a child, feeling a sense of belonging in a permanent home. Torn between responsibilities and countries, she finds new purpose in ceramics. In the garden of Mishal, her teacher, she discovers the power of patient observation and working with one's hands.
