Publisher's Synopsis
This title shows three series of drawings by Letizia Werth. The artist frequently works with image material she has come across, which she translated and re-interprets in various different media in her artistic production. Alongside the drawings, Letizia Werth also creates so-called dust works in the form of images, objects, and installations. The latest work from this series, which began in 2002, is a film that shows the artist using a broom to form the famous phrase a rose is a rose in dust on the floor of the workshop. The book also documents Werth's dust garden and dust cultivation.
