After the catastrophe at the tomb of Krengilact, The Band continues on their journey with both the Stones of Space and Light in their possession. They traverse the harsh climate within Chillbreege's icy-peaked mountain pass, eventually entering the borders of Tahor. But danger lurks as Vortigern's forces wage closer to their goal with every passing day, and The Evil itself grows in strength, slowly regaining its full power across the land. Upon entering the province they encounter many new challenges to face; Brodick discovers a fragment of his past that is impossible to contain, which the Eternal Deities deem a path to The Evil.
