Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Lectures on the Treatment of Fibroid Tumors of the Uterus: Medical, Electrical and Surgical
Fibroid tumors of the uterus vary in size from a scarcely perceptible enlargement of the uterus, to a tumor which may weigh more than one hundred pounds. No definite limit of maximum dimension can be assigned; some grow rapidly to an enormous size, while others, under apparently the same condi tions, increase slowly and never attain such propor tions as to produce deformity.
