Publisher's Synopsis
In this course the student is introduced to the orchestra, learns about the four families of the orchestra, and the instruments that are in each family. The student builds their own string instrument--a box harp--made out of a cardboard box. The course also covers the fundamentals of music note reading, and as final activities the student writes music for their box harp and then plays it.
