Le Calvaire d'une Femme Unique est une exploration des relations humaines et du rôle de la providence dans les circonstances de la vie. Yola est née à Moki, à Sogalan, d'une mère célibataire contrainte par des circonstances géopolitiques de déménager à Femam, Poundeya, sa terre natale. Cette mère célibataire finit par se marier, mais à l'âge de dix ans, Yola découvre que le mari de sa mère n'est en réalité que son beau-père. Cette révélation la pousse à quitter la maison très jeune, ce qui l'oblige à mûrir rapidement et à se préparer à un avenir plein d'incertitudes. Elle affronte ces épreuves et fait face à son propre calvaire.

A Woman's Broken Wall is an exploration of human relationship and the role of providence in the circumstances. Yola was born in Moki in Sogalan by a single mother who was forced by geo-political circumstances to move to Femam, Poundeya, her homeland. This single mother eventually gets married but at ten Yola sniffs that her mother's husband was only a stepfather to her. This realization made her leave home at such a tender age. This enabled her to mature very quickly, preparing her for a future full of uncertainties. She navigates through them to face up to her broken wall .
