In the distant future, at the edge of known space, the laws of physics begin to break down. It is a mysterious region little is known about. It is a place few are willing to venture into. It is Law's End. When a research team becomes trapped beyond the Law's End barrier with information that could unravel its mystery a daring rescue must be risked. An unlikely team is assembled for the job including adventurer and sometime pirate Kassad Mir, Canis a former customs service dog, and Ursula Greene a data analyst whose husband is part of the ill fated scientific mission. Together they will have to reach the survivors, outwit an obsessed and sadistic Lawship captain, and bring everyone back before falling to the debilitating effects of Law's End itself.
