With the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur, this was the first officially authorised hymnbook since the introduction of the new translation. It contains the masses that have been revised in accordance with the 2010 English translation of the Roman missal, and about 25 replacement hymns. It also contains additional Mass settings - the Belmont Mass (Walker), Mass of Christ our Saviour (Schutte) and (for the first time in a mainstream hymnal) a complete Welsh mass by Alan Rees with new acclamations.
