Forty-something Suzi has turned her back on a career as a medical doctor, for a simpler life in the countryside. But making ends meet is a challenge, what with the high cost of rent, and jobs in the rural setting being tricky to come by. Disillusioned with life, she takes a walk with her dog India.
James lives in the big mansion by the lake, and to most people, looks to be landed gentry with no care in the world, but not everything is as it seems. Thank goodness he has his dog Max to share his stresses with.
Life is about to change for Suzi and James when a walk in the mountains doesn't entirely go to plan.
