Meticulous macroeconomic analysis on the Theory of Growth. The text begins with the acceptance speech of the Nobel Prize, followed by the six original chapters of the first edition. These summarize, with precision, the basic notions of the Theory of Growth. The second half of the book addresses the emergence of a new theoretical current known as "Endogenous Growth Theory," introduced by Paul Romer and Robert Lucas. In addition, Solow includes an essay entitled "Intermezzo" in which he analyzes this transition.
