Publisher's Synopsis
Some of these thought-provoking short stories were inspired by very old folktales originated in the Middle East or China. They have been dear friends for many years. The others are the product of my imagination. They all play in Al-Andalus (Moorish Spain), a time and place of tolerance and mostly peaceful coexistence between Christians, Muslims and Jews, between Orient and Occident. Most likely, similar stories have been told there. The short stories are written in elementary Spanish suitable for all learners from level B1. In addition, more than 700 words have been translated to facilitate the understanding of the text.
