Stevenson escribió La isla del tesoro cuando vio a su sobrino dibujar con acuarelas el mapa de una isla. Comenzó a ponerle nombres: la isla del Esqueleto, la colina del Catalejo, hasta escribir en la esquina superior derecha las palabras &«la isla del tesoro». Tras una larga enfermedad, murió en 1894 en la isla de Upolu, en el Pacìfico Sur, donde vivìa entonces. ¿Encontrarìa su tesoro en esa isla?
Stevenson wrote Treasure Island when his nephew drew a watercolor map with an island. He began to give the places names like Skeleton Island. Then, in the upper right-hand corner, he wrote "Treasure Island." Stevenson lost his life in 1894 after battling an illness on the island of Upolu in the South Pacific. Is it possible that he found his treasure on that island?
