This book introduces 100 commonly used hanja and makes them easy to learn! While you are relaxed, enjoying a coloring book, the information can more easily penetrate your brain to be learned, retained, and recalled when needed. Coloring slows the brain down long enough to more fully engage with the form - and meaning - of each hanja. This book is not meant to be a stand-alone form of instruction in the Korean language, but rather, it is intended to be a fun supplement to beginner level coursework, classes, or other learning materials. As it is strictly intended as a supplement or study aid, it does not cover each hanja exhaustively. Only one meaning and one reading are given for each hanja. This book can also be used a great first step in learning hanja, and an enjoyable way to begin the journey through the hanja. It can also be used to prove to reluctant learners that they CAN learn hanja - easily!!! Many people feel they cannot learn - or retain - the hanja and working through this coloring book will quickly prove otherwise. Coloring only one hanja a day will result in a strong beginning, allowing students to learn and retain 100 high frequency hanja in a little over three months. More ambitious learners can easily cover more ground, more rapidly. It is recommended that students first read the English meaning and Korean reading of each hanja, then trace the stroke order with their fingers. Next, students should color the hanja - following the stroke order - while keeping the meaning and reading in mind as they work.
