Marty Hogg hated being the new kid. He had many awkward moments in his attempt to fit in with his peers and it didn't help he had a weird last name too. Just when he thought he was destined to be the New Kid until college graduation, his lucky day came when another new kid walked right into his classroom.
The new New Kid wasn't like everybody else. Chuma was from Nairobi, Kenya in Africa... he spoke old world English with a very proper British accent, and dressed like he was headed for job interview at The White House. Out of all the kids to choose from in the big school, Marty is given the honor of showing Chuma the ropes of the new school. Chuma and Marty forge a new friendship as they learn each other's culture over the world's most popular sport - football, or as we say in America - soccer!
