Three months later, the Kingdoms of Yarmir and Dalamar have been united into the Southern Kingdom, under the rule of Queen Lissa and a poisoned King Bayden. Iridi searches for the cure to the King's suffering, while Tiberious Redstorm continues his search for Rhyn's friend, Dirham Gerard, and the charismatic killer, Carrick Belhound. Titan Goldclaw has his own problems to deal with, since being gifted the lords and land in the north and west of Yarmir he has only seen rebellion. The Free Lands, led by Lord Sanderson Gulroy, have kept the Leonhardt at bay and their freedom intact. But Lord Gulroy has more than the Free Lands in his eyesight. But all that moves in Vikinsa is not what it seems as another agenda moves silently in the shadows.
