Killing Carla is an existentialist play text. It deals with the issues of Schizophrenia and inner-demons in an accessible way. Through a series of poems and monologues, Killing Carla details the all-too-familiar life of an ordinary girl, who just so happens to be mentally ill. The goal of this play text is to normalise mental health issues and alleviate the stigma surrounding them.
