The tragic loss of their mother to cancer and the abrupt disappearance of their father instill within the girls a deep sense of loss and betrayal and they make it their quest to get Keeler back. Ruby digs up an unusual crystal she witnessed her mom burying in the backyard, days before she died. Sade is horrified and fears its use was the cause of their mom's cancer. Ruby believes it has the power to get them inside the school. Befriended by two evolved hybrid wolves, rejects from the school, they begin to devise a plan to help their brother and his classmates escape. They realize the only way in is through the mysterious labyrinth of caves beneath the academy. Unfortunately, things no longer human roam the dark catacombs and underground passages, and the adventurers will only prevail by uniting together against the evil within. Keeler Moon, is my first YA novel, It can be best interpreted on two distinct levels, as a taut fantasy thriller or a sci-fi paranormal adventure.
