Brenna is recovering from a car accident when she breaks up a cat fight in the alley. Little does she know but the cat she saves is a djinn prince and his enemy has marked her for death. Jaedin is a ma'arid, the most powerful class of djinn, and one of only five in existence. He needs to feed on emotion to survive, but as he spends time in Brenna's company, his plans to use her change into a growing respect. When Dascin attacks, Jaedin takes her into the djinn realms to protect her. Can these two from such vastly different worlds find common ground?
