Publisher's Synopsis
Handsome Edward Somers has been recovering from his wartime injuries in a small hotel in the South of France. One day, he happens upon a villa, within which lives a beautiful countess, Katerina, who is not allowed any visitors. Edward manages to break through to her and soon the pair develop a wonderful friendship.
