Publisher's Synopsis
Collection of four comedy adventures. In 'Kangaroo Jack' (2002) Charlie (Jerry O'Connell) and Louis (Anthony Anderson) accidentally run over a kangaroo. The pair then decide to dress the dead animal in sunglasses and Louis' jacket. But the kangaroo isn't as dead as they imagined, and it hops away out of sight - with stolen money in his pocket. Soon the two boys are on a kangaroo chase around the Australian outback. 'Thief Lord' (2006) is an adventure based on the novel by Cornelia Funke. Six-year-old Bo (Jasper Harris) and 15-year-old Prosper (Aaron Johnson) are two recently orphaned brothers who escape their impending separation by running off to Venice. There they have fantastical adventures with the mysterious masked figure known as the Thief Lord and his band of child followers, who show the boys all the magic the city has to offer. In 'Space Jam' (1997) NBA star Michael Jordan teams up with Bugs Bunny and the rest of his pals in a basketball game that is more important than any that has ever come before - the fate of the Earth hangs on the result. The problem has arisen because an invading alien race, the Nerclucks, wants to kidnap Bugs and the rest of the Looney Tunes and use them as a tourist attraction on Moron Mountain. Bill Murray also stars in this live action and animated mix. In the Farrelly brothers' 'Osmosis Jones' (2001) animation and live action footage are again mixed together. When Frank (Bill Murray) eats a boiled egg tainted by monkey spit, an unwelcome virus is released into his body's animated interior. The body defends itself by placing tough cellular cop Osmosis Jones on the case, sending him chasing through the various channels of Frank's internal system in pursuit of the invader. Osmosis then teams up with a cold remedy called Drix and starts causing all kinds of havoc in his attempt to arrest the unruly virus. Meanwhile, back on the outside world, poor Frank is being sent into all kinds of agony by the battle raging deep within him.
