Publisher's Synopsis
This is the first of two packs of photocopiable material aimed at pupils of KS3 Science who are at either end of the learning spectrum. This particular pack is aimed at the pupils at the lower levels, Levels 1-4. The pack contains 100 worksheets, divided into three sections to correspond with the areas covered by KS3 Science: Life Processes and Living Things, Materials and Their Properties; and Physical Processes. It is designed to be user friendly, and features numerous diagrams and special sections such as "What We Found Out" to consolidate the areas covered by each worksheet. Many worksheets also contain a "To Think About" section which poses questions which encourage further thought or research. Wherever possible, to help simplify scientific principles, the pack has used examples which should be familiar to all pupils. The Teacher's Notes at the beginning of the pack take teachers through each sheet in turn. This section also features a table detailing which part of the National Curriculum each sheet covers. As the packs are photocopiable, they provide homework tasks or classroom exercises to consolidate the topics covered in the main science lessons.
