Publisher's Synopsis
Leo has a secret love with the owner of the Banks Sawmills daughter, Emily. He had thought his life was just beginning to move in the right direction but his trusting personal traits are about to cause him some serious consequences.
Terry Banks, the owner of the Sawmills, has discovered his employee's secret relationship with his daughter Emily. Terry has some really dark contacts in London in the form of the Reynolds brothers as Leo is about to discover.
When the Sawmills is razed to the ground, Leo Parker becomes the number one suspect. He skips bail and goes on the run but he has the police, Terry Banks and the Reynolds brothers hunting him down because now Emily Banks has gone missing.
Leo suffers a serious assault and an enforced heroin drug overdose. He is hospitalised for some time but all the while no one can find Emily. Leo is charged and convicted of arson but no evidence can be found of a possible involvement in Emily's disappearance.
He gets out of prison after serving five years and heads back to Becclesfield in search of the truth. He is unaware there are people in the town waiting for his release and they want to know what happened to Emily.
In a bizarre twist Emily's sister Miley goes missing shortly after Leo's prison release.
He becomes the number one suspect of a possible kidnap once again as the police launch a thorough investigation.
