Publisher's Synopsis
When Joyce and Kim started their new jobs, little did they realize that their lives were about to change forever. Their childhood nemesis Brenda Slamone reappears, only to fill them with fear, angst and confusion. After Brenda loses her company and Joyce marries the one man that Brenda could never have, only disaster is left to loom upon the two women. It is when Joyce and her husband Steven visit Los Angeles that events turn for the worse and Steven returns from a business meeting to find that his beloved wife has gone missing. Nobody knows who could have taken Joyce, though there is a name on the tip of everyone's tongue. However, without the only woman he has ever truly loved, Steven can only see a blank future without Joyce.
