Joshua Patrick Allen was born in the small town of Firebaugh, California, on May 21, 1996, more than 30 miles from any major city. It's there that Allen's family owns a cotton farm where Allen spent his childhood. Most of his free time, however, went toward sports. Allen was a three-sport athlete at Firebaugh High School, excelling at both baseball and basketball on top of football.
