Publisher's Synopsis
Mysterious letters are received by three Highland landowners declaring that on a given date a deer or salmon will be poached from their lands. They are all signed "John Macnab". Meanwhile, three gentlemen slip into the cottage retreat of Sir Archibald Roylance, an aspiring Member of Parliament.
