Publisher's Synopsis
Hi! My name is Jesus. Jesus Jacobson, actually. I know what you are thinking so let me explain. I was born in New York City's Greenwich Village. The only child of Jewish hippies, I have always been right at home between the Bronx Zoo and the Empire State Building. That was until my parents announced that we were moving to Eastern Pennsylvania to take care of my Great Uncle Milton, a former child star turned aging drug addict. Adding insult to insulin (that will make more sense in a minute), the town we were moving to was called Nazareth! Thankfully I wasn't not the only rat in this science experiment. Along the way I meet Alice Pawlowski, the top hat wearing, idiom improving (get it now?), literal girl-next-door; Carson Dexter, the openly gay, openly Republican student council candidate; and Isaac Peterson, the biracial radio talk show host and founder of the still unfounded high school astronomy club. Together we will face a principled principal, a religious group with a target on my back, and a bully with a secret. Do I have what it takes to become Jesus of Nazareth? Join me on this journey and we will find out together.
