Je T'ecoute! Cassette Intermediate Listening Practice

Je t'ecoute! is based on cued but unscripted recordings of young French people discussing or presenting their views on a wide range of topics. These natural conversations, recorded on two C45 cassettes, are used as a source for a variety of lively exploitations - on average, seven activities per item. The activities progress from practice in receptive listening skills to productive oral (and occasionally written) work. Key vocabulary is provided for each topic.;The topics have been carefully chosen both for their relevance to the five National Curriculum Areas of Experience and the familiar syllabus topics, and for their potential to achieve a high level of interest and response. They are approached in an innovative and thought-provoking way to stimulate debate, while the activities are designed to build confidence and understanding.
