But another week of school is waiting for them, and Jayden's cats, Hex and Halo, simply must have a new set of games to play every day before school.
At school, Jayden pursues a new direction in his life: auditioning for the class play. Raylene is focused on the art contest and using her new appreciation of colors. To complicate things, they might never again see Jayden's parents, school, their classmates, their teachers, or even the bus driver as they had before their search to find Val ka'Yoom.
