Publisher's Synopsis
JANINA brings two strangers together. One, a prominent Boston artist and grandmother recently widowed when her physician husband died; the other, a middle aged family man and published medical research scientist from Los Angeles. An unexpected bond develops between them following an unlikely meeting. This bond eventually reveals their inner strengths, insecurities and fears, as well as their abilities to rise from meager beginnings and make significant accomplishments in the face of overwhelming hardships, personal doubts and disappointments. A near-death-experience becomes the directive force for one; death in the medical field strains each of their ingrained faiths.
