Publisher's Synopsis
These are fictional (probably) stories about Jesus--His birth, early days, His and John (the Baptist to be) adventures, Jesus mission stories, and other. Some touch on characters in the Bible and some characters are entirely fictional--but possible. Most stories are happy but some are "life happens" stories. Some leave you with a question such as, "What do you think?"
The stories "come" to me so I'm more the recorder than the author. The second part of "The Soldiers are Coming" took off on its own. I like the character "Ugly Mountain" and the "Jesus and John" stories (I had them ride a camel and each gave a piggy-back ride and more.) I wonder the impact Jesus had on the man whose ear Jesus healed as He was being arrested--the warmth of His hand he probably felt the rest of his life. I like the story of the puppy Jesus healed for the little girl--and her mother. (I tried to tell it to myself out loud, and though fictional, found the story touching me emotionally--maybe I'm a soft touch.)
