Lieutenant Jack Slade, a homicide detective for the Las Vegas Police Department, with only six months experience as the department's lead homicide detective, finds himself charged with solving his first drive by shooting murder. A popular radio personality has been brutally gunned down on the Las Vegas Strip, leaving virtually no clues, and the only witness Slade has seems to be unreliable. The crime mysteriously and tragically leads to the death of five people.
