Publisher's Synopsis
A food scientist for Dixie Darling Foods and Beverages in New Orleans is murdered in a home invasion robbery. Law enforcement knows neither who committed the homicide nor the reason behind it, though the wrong man is arrested and brought to trial. It is left to the victim's nephew, Casey Reeds, to uncover the truth about a new multi-million dollar product and the reason behind his uncle's death. When the arrested man's irascible daughter joins in on the sleuthing, Casey's complications are doubled.
