The breadth and beauty of the artistic flowering that has become known as the Italian Renaissance are discovered through illustrations and directed activities. The author explores the concept of patronage, the links between wealth and the abundance of creativity, and the greatness achieved in art, science and ideas.;The book is part of a series written for the Supplementary Study units at Key Stage 3.
