Man Chen, whose original name is Zhou Minjun, was born in Songjiang, Shanghai, in 1966. Currently a member of Shanghai Writers Association and head of Huating Poetry Society in Shanghai, he has published collections of short fiction and poetry, with work published in such newspapers or magazines as Poetry Monthly, River South Poetry, Waves of Poetry, Fragrant Grass, Forest of Poetry, Selected Poetry Halfmonthly, Green Wind Poetry Bi-monthly, The Yangtze River Poetry Bi-monthly and Shanghai Poets Monthly. He has won The First Huating Poetry Award in November 2018 and The First Oriental and Occidental Poets Award in December 2019.
