Widowed school teacher Spencer Riley prepares to go to Colorado to spend Christmas with his mother. His daughter, Starr, although loves her grandmother, prefers a more fun Christmas and even if they are going to go to Colorado, would prefer they go by airplane, but Spencer loves the scenery of nature more and always likes driving in his old pick up truck which Starr hates. Belle Monroe, is a model and fashion photographer. She has some assignments to finish up before she rushes to Aspen to continue plans for her wedding with her fiance Antonio. Although she is excited about it, she also has fears because of what people have told her about Italian men being Latin lovers with wandering eyes. His close relationship with his personal assistant, Victoria also makes her worry. Belle's flight is diverted to Denver because of the weather and she is stranded until she meets the Riley's. Starr Riley recognizes Belle from one of her fashion magazines and her father walks up to Belle to seek an autograph for his daughter. He is taken by her beauty. He hasn't felt this way since his belated wife passed away. Spencer offer to help Belle get as close as possible to Aspen before going on to to his family home.
